From Vision to Form

What is Kingdom Design?
Kingdom Design is an artistic practice developed by interior architect and designer Esther M.G. Hansson. Drawing inspiration from the narratives and symbolic language of the Bible, Kingdom Design translates story, symbolism and meaning into spatial design, objects, natural materials and craftsmanship.
Kingdom Design explores how biblical narratives, symbolism and natural materials can be translated into spatial design and object design that carry story, meaning and beauty.

“Guided by vision and shaped through thoughtful craftsmanship, natural materials and careful discernment, Kingdom Design continues to evolve through new artistic projects, where each work contributes to an enduring design language characterised by wisdom, excellence, beauty and lasting value.”
The Practice
Kingdom Design is expressed through both interior environments and bespoke objects. Every project is shaped through proportion, light, craftsmanship and materiality, seeking to create spaces and objects that carry meaning while reflecting wisdom, excellence, beauty and lasting value.
As an ongoing artistic practice, Kingdom Design continues to develop through new projects, each contributing to a growing body of work that explores the relationship between faith, design and the built environment.
